1 – Citrine
Citrine is a translucent stone, part of the Quartz Family. It forms when the stone Amethyst rises to a higher temperature, which can happen in either a man-made or natural way.
Heat treated Citrine tends to appear more of a warm, brown-yellow, where natural Citrine tends to appear more of a light honey yellow.
Both balance the Solar Plexus by wearing this stone or meditating with it while setting it over the Solar Plexus Location, in the mid-to-upper abdomen.
Spiritually, Citrine is energizing and thought to promote positive thoughts.
2 – Amber
Amber is technically a tree resin, and it comes from many trees. It is softer than a crystal matrix but often hard enough to be used in jewelry, and it also has energetic properties and can be carried like a crystal, which is why it’s included here.
Spiritually, Amber is more of a gentle stone, which heals the Solar Plexus Chakra by drawing negative energies out, so this energy center can restore itself.
3 – Yellow-Orange Calcite
Calcite is a stone that has a large family, like the Quartz Family, and so far, over 300 species of Calcite have been identified.
More than 15% of the Earth is thought to be made of Calcite and it’s similar species, meaning this is a stone you can often find at an affordable price. You can often find it in the many colors of it that exist.
One of the Calcite forms is Yellow Calcite, sometimes called Orange Calcite.
This stone promotes warmth, confidence and a positive mood when placed over the abdomen in meditation or sleeping with it near the pillow. It is also great for clearing self-doubt.
4 – Travertine
Travertine is a limestone deposit and it is often used for kitchen countertops, though you can occasionally find it in jewelry and as solid display pieces.
As a side product of hot spring activity, this stone is thought to work on the Solar Plexus for rejuvenating the body if there has been fatigue. It can promote positive feelings and purify the Solar Plexus.
5 – Pyrite
Growing up in a family that collected gems, minerals, and rare colored glass, and Pyrite being so sparkly, this stone has attracted my eye since before the internet existed.
Pyrite is an iron sulfide, and due to all the iron it is a heavy, metallic-looking stone. It’s great for confidence, strength, and returning the ideas of success to the body.
Pyrite holds a special place in my heart. It is one of the stones my sister brought to my house and suggested I carry in my pocket in late 2020. As a small business owner during that time, it did work for me to keep the mood positive.
6 – Yellow Jasper
Jaspers come in many forms, but two of my favorites are red and yellow jasper. Both forms of jasper are grounding, while the yellow form of it tends to promote more of a positive uplifting mood, and a more energetic attitude.
For the Solar Plexus Chakra, Yellow Jasper boosts happiness which in turn, boosts confidence and willpower.
