Plant Based Thanksgiving Main Course Ideas
The biggest question you might have when it comes to planning a Turkey free Thanksgiving is what to make for the main course.
If you want to try something Turkey-like, there are actually some pretty good options out there now for Meatless Roasted Turkey.
Or, you can make one of these plant-based alternatives instead! I love making plant based food that’s so good they won’t miss the meat!
If you’re looking for a Thanksgiving main to wow your guests, this is it! Squash stuffed with vegan sausage, almonds, cranberries and kale. Yum!
Is it Thanksgiving yet?
If you haven’t tried roasted cauliflower before you’re seriously missing out… This Whole Roasted Cauliflower is easy to make, presents beautifully… And you even get to carve it up like Turkey if you’re sentimental like that.
Warm and hearty, this Lentil Loaf is the ultimate healthy comfort food. Plus its easy to make and pairs perfectly with Thanksgiving sides. Not sure how this would reheat, but it only takes 45 minutes to bake, so you may as well eat it hot out of the oven.
Stuffed Squash is one of those recipes that makes for a show-stopping centerpiece. This Curried Lentil stuffing from frieddandelions.com brings the naturally delicious flavor of the squash to the next level.
If you’re looking for a festive entree to wow your guests, this recipe from Sina at VeganHeaven.com is it!
Plus, the falafel is Pan-fried so it won’t take up any precious oven space on Thanksgiving day!
