Meditation Has the Potential to Transform Your Life

I know what you’re thinking, and I can hear you saying it right now “What are the benefits of meditation for me? Isn’t meditation something reserved for the Great Eastern Gurus only?” The categorical response is NO! Every single person on this globe should learn to meditate since it will aid you in your day-to-day development, will assist you cope with the outside world, and will aid you in dealing with your worry.

The entire purpose of meditation is to assist in the discovery of inner peace, which is the art of bringing all of the turmoil in your mind and your life into some type of order via the practice of mindfulness. The first stage in meditation is to get you to a state of calm, a state of serenity, from which you may create and manage control over your emotions.

Learning to cope with life

Once you have accomplished this, you can proceed to further investigate your own mind. As a result of the way we live and the constant barrage of information from commercial entities, our minds are frequently overflowing with knowledge and facts. Meditation can have a beneficial effect on your blood pressure. It has happened to me numerous times that I have gone several days without meditating, and my blood pressure has gradually increased. Several experiments with my blood pressure and meditation have been conducted by me, and this is one that I recommend you to attempt as well. I just purchased an electronic blood pressure machine, which can be purchased for approximately $200 Australian dollars from a pharmacist or chemist. I began by taking my blood pressure to determine what it was currently reading. After that, I meditated for 20 minutes and double-checked the results. I discovered that both my blood pressure and pulse rate had fallen by up to 30% as a result of the exercise. However, I have also tried doing the same exercise but, instead of meditating, I simply sat for 20 minutes and relaxed, and I have discovered that I do not have anything near the same benefit. In most cases, I would only witness a 5 to 10% gain in performance.

You will be the only person in your head when you are meditating, so in the end you will be the expert in your own meditation techniques because you will be alone in your head. There are many people who can assist you in learning meditation, but in the end, if you are listening to them while meditating, your attention will be diverted from your inner self and will instead be directed toward your outside self.

Several people have mentioned to me that I am one of the most prolific writers in the world. Every morning I sit down and write 5 to 10 articles between 1,000 and 2,000 words, and my editors would not publish my work if it was not of exceptional quality; it is common for me to sit down and write 5 to 10 articles between 1,000 and 2,000 words every day. It is my belief that one of the reasons I am able to accomplish this is due of my meditation practice. When I have finished my meditation, my mind is free of stress, which allows me to be more creative than I have ever been. I, like many other writers, suffer from “writers’ block,” as we like to refer to it. Most of the time, this is caused simply by the disarray of knowledge in our heads.

Whenever I find myself in a scenario when writers’ block is truly coming in, I simply stop, go to my meditation place for 20 minutes, and when I am finished, I am always inundated with excellent ideas to finish my stuff. I hope you find this helpful. One thing to keep in mind is that I have found that Baroque Music at 60 beats per minute is the most effective for getting the creative juices flowing. My preferred form of meditation music, rather than quiet water flowing or the sounds of nature, is this style of music because the 60 beats per minute helps release considerably more alpha waves in my brain.
