Boebert, a passionate supporter of the former president, told Newsmax on Wednesday that charging Trump with attempting to overturn the 2020 result was ‘election interference at its finest’.
But she felt it was only serving to help Trump’s campaign and energize his supporters.
‘This is election interference at its finest,’ she told Rob Schmitt.
‘The DOJ is no longer the Department of Justice. It’s the department of injustice and with this arraignment, Joe Biden, his DOJ, has officially become his new campaign headquarters, and Jack Smith is his new campaign manager.’
Smith was appointed as special counsel in November, and is overseeing both the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case and the 2020 election case.

She said Trump would benefit from Smith’s prosecution.
‘I’m actually really excited over this arraignment because it only ensures that President Trump will be the 47th president of the United States,’ she continued.
‘Because the American people are sick of this. They are sick of the Democrats’ dirty tricks.’
Boebert’s argument is borne out by the latest polling, which this week put Trump and Joe Biden neck-and-neck, with 43 per cent of support each.
Trump is by far the most popular candidate for the Republican primary, with a 37-point lead over his nearest rival, Ron DeSantis.
Trump held decisive advantages across almost every demographic group and region, and in every ideological wing of the party, the New York Times/Siena College survey found.

‘When you look at what’s happening, this is a persecution of a political opponent,’ said Trump, addressing reporters at Reagan National Airport.
‘This was never supposed to happen in America. This is the persecution of the person that’s leading by very, very substantial numbers in the Republican primary and leading Biden by a lot.
‘So if you can’t beat him, you persecute them or you prosecute him. We can’t let this happen in America.’
On Tuesday, a grand jury indictment accused him of spreading ‘lies’ and ‘sham’ investigations while stoking an ‘angry’ mob on January 6.
He is also accused of using ‘unlawful means’ to try and cling onto power after his defeat to Joe Biden and spreading ‘lies’ that sparked violence during the riot.
The former president faced a federal judge Thursday afternoon who read out the four federal charges against him that carry a combined maximum sentence of 55 years in prison.

His motorcade went through D.C. traffic and drove underneath the court so U.S. Marshals could take him into custody. He was fingerprinted but not handcuffed and did not have to pose for a mugshot.
The charges are conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy against the rights of citizens, obstructing an official proceeding and conspiring to obstruct an official proceeding.
