Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg criticises Donald Trump over Covid-19 after US sets record for new cases


Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has criticised President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus crisis saying it was “avoidable”.

Speaking the Dr Anthony Fauci, Mr Zuckerberg adde that it is “really disappointing that we still don’t have adequate testing”.

This comes after the United States set another record for new coronavirus cases with 68,428 infections recorded in 24 hours, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

Dr Anthony Fauci, the Director at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, called for a “regroup” of the country’s approach to coronavirus, saying “we’ve got to do this in a more measured way”.
