More than 60,500 new COVID-19 cases were reported across the U.S. on Thursday alone, once again setting a one-day record, and as the situation worsens with infections rising in 41 out of 50 states, the pandemic is also becoming increasingly politicized.
The coronavirus pandemic has been left to run wild in the United States, with no co-ordinated federal strategy. Add to that a raging a battle between science and politics, and the consequences are entirely predictable.
