LSU head coach Ed Orgeron never stops recruiting. The Tigers reeled in two more 2021 4-star prospects in safety Khari Gee and defensive end Savion Jones. Gee, a 6’3’’ bruising hitter, is the second prospect to commit to the Tigers from Atlanta in the 2021 class. Jones became the third EDGE 2021 commit and the second from Louisiana. Chat Sports analyst Carter Bryant compared the two to former LSU standouts Curtis Taylor and Kirston Pittman.

LSU’s highest ranked commit Raesjon Davis had an interesting twist, his recruiting ranking recently dropped from a 5-star to a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. Bryant rants about how this happened despite no official football-related activities being held in the past few months. He then overviews the entire class in its current form.

LSU got great news when Ga’Quincy “Kool-Aid” McKinstry announced LSU in his Top 5, along with Clemson, Alabama, Auburn and Georgia. The Crimson Tide right now are the favorites for the 5-star cornerback out of Pinson, Alabama. Bryant discusses LSU’s chances + one extra wildcard about McKinstry’s multi-sport capabilities.
